MORRISTOWN, N.J. Actavis on Tuesday announced the reintroduction of its FeverAll acetaminophen suppositories to retail following the completion of updates to the company’s manufacturing facility.

The brand will be marketed in publications read by new parents and healthcare professionals, the company stated.

IRVINGTON, N.Y. Prestige Brands recently announced the introduction of a revamped line of Chloraseptic sore throat lozenges and Chloraseptic throat spray.

In addition to soothing sore throat pain, the lozenges help cool nasal passages and ease coughs, the company stated. The new lozenge includes cherry, citrus, honey lemon and green tea flavors.

 

The Chloraseptic lozenge line is available in 15- and 18-count packs with a suggested retail price of $3.99.

In fact, he virtually had no retail experience, which could explain why the company came up with the $4 generic idea. Now, as head of the company’s $258 billion U.S. division, you have to wonder if disruptive actions of a similar nature are in store. Clearly, Walmart didn’t make this change because it is overjoyed with the performance of its U.S.

Kay Hagan, D-N.C., has been backed by the National Association of Chain Drug Stores and the National Community Pharmacists Association -- and for good reason. For health reform to have any real teeth, MTM needs to be a meaningful part of it -- and if MTM is going to have any real teeth, retail pharmacy needs to be a part of it.
