The floss is spun by hand and is grown sustainably in the groves of mulberry trees in the mountains of Colombia. After spinning, the floss is coated with natural, vegan candelilla wax, which is derived from the leaves of the Candelilla shrub.

COLD SPRING HARBOR, N.Y. Cirrus Healthcare Products has expanded its ear care offerings with a new product, slated to hit retail shelves in spring 2011.

Tinnitex is the first and only earplug to help relieve tinnitus, a condition that causes ringing in the ears, the company said. According to the Journal of Clinical Nursing, more than 50 million Americans suffer from tinnitus.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. Eastman Kodak Co. has announced that CVS/pharmacy is offering the new Kodak PYNK smart print system, which is a new concept in premium photo products.

CVS/pharmacy will begin wide-scale installations in 5,000 of its U.S. retail locations in early December. Kodak expected to complete the PYNK system rollout for CVS/pharmacy in time for the holiday gifting season.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. A bipartisan legislation that seeks to prevent organized retail crime is being applauded by the chain pharmacy industry.

The Organized Retail Theft Investigation and Prosecution Act of 2010, introduced by Reps. Bobby Scott, D-Va., and Lamar Smith, R-Texas, would create a specific task force within the Department of Justice to investigate and prosecute instances involving organized retail crime.

The Clinic at Walmart will be located inside the Walmart at 5065 Pyramid Highway. This opening will mark the region's first retail clinic, according to the article.
