CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Takeda Pharmaceutical's cancer drug unit has started a late-stage clinical trial of a drug for treating a rare form of lymphoma, the company said.

The unit, Millennium, announced the start of a phase-3 trial to evaluate MLN8237 in patients with relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma, an aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Robert Morrissey, who has served as VP human resources for Campbell's North America division since 2006, was appointed SVP and chief human resources officer. In his new role, Morrissey will be responsible for Campbell's global human resources function, including talent acquisition and management, organizational effectiveness, compensation and benefits, and diversity and inclusion for the company's 18,000 employees.

Molson Coors has combined two senior positions on its executive leadership team into one.

DENVER — Molson Coors has combined two senior positions on its executive leadership team into one.

The company said its chief legal officer Samuel Walker now will serve as chief people and legal officer. Molsons Coors' current chief people officer, Ralph Hargrow, is stepping down from his role to pursue other career opportunities.

Walker has served as VP and global chief legal officer since the merger of Molson and Coors in 2005. Previously, he was U.S. and worldwide chief legal officer and group VP at Coors Brewing Co. since 2002.
