Coty, an emerging global leader in beauty, announced today that it has added Olivier Goudet , partner and chief executive officer of the Joh. A. Benckiser Group, to the company's board of directors.

NEW YORK — Coty Inc., an emerging global leader in beauty, announced today that it has added Olivier Goudet , partner and chief executive officer of the Joh. A. Benckiser Group, to the company's board of directors.

Goudet replaces Bernd Beetz, who stepped down from Coty's Board to pursue other interests. JAB is a privately held group that owns and invests in premium brands; it is also Coty's majority shareholder.

NASP appoints Thomas Blissenbach to board of directors

Fairview Pharmacy Services director of business development Thomas Blissenbach has been appointed to the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy's board of directors, the NASP said.

TAMPA, Fla. — Fairview Pharmacy Services director of business development Thomas Blissenbach has been appointed to the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy's board of directors, the NASP said.

Blissenbach has worked in hospital and alternative-site pharmacy for more than 40 years and has developed and led several ambulatory pharmacy business units since joining Fairview in 2000.

Ahold chairman to step down

Rene Dahan will step down as Royal Ahold's board chairman in October, the Dutch supermarket operator said.

AMSTERDAM — Rene Dahan will step down as Royal Ahold's board chairman in October, the Dutch supermarket operator said Wednesday.

Netherlands-based Ahold — which operates the Stop & Shop, Giant-Landover and Giant-Carlisle chains and the Peapod online grocery service in the United States through its Ahold USA subsidiary — said that Dahan would step down after serving on the company's board since 2004. The company plans to propose at its shareholder meeting the appointment of Jan Hommen as Dahan's successor.

Mike Jackson was named to the board of directors of iControl Systems USA, where he also will serve in the capacity of senior adviser to iControl president and CEO Tal Zlotnitsky.
