ATLANTA — Fuze has launched a new collection of teas and juice drinks.

The new selections from Fuze include lemon iced tea; honey and ginseng green tea; half iced tea and half lemonade; berry punch juice drink and strawberry lemonade juice drink. Additional Fuze offerings will debut throughout the remainder of 2012.

NEW YORK — Beginning this month, South Carolina is allowing retail-based health clinics to enroll as providers in Medicaid, a move that will enable Medicaid patients to use clinics for wellness visits, preventive services and to treat acute ailments, according to a local news report.

According to The Post and Courier, South Carolina Medicaid director Tony Keck said the move is designed to expand access to care and keep those patients with basic health issues from using high-cost emergency departments.

ARLINGTON, Va. — Surescripts on Tuesday announced that Minnesota achieved the highest rate of e-prescribing use in the nation during 2011 to capture the No. 1 ranking in its seventh annual Safe-Rx Awards. NEW YORK — Coty CEO Bernd Beetz is retiring from the beauty company, effective Aug. 1, and will be succeeded by Michele Scannavini, who has been president of Coty Prestige for the past decade.

Beetz will remain on the Coty board as a nonexecutive director. In this role he will continue to share his experience and contribute to a smooth leadership transition supporting Scannavini.

SILVER SPRING, Md. — The main office of the Food and Drug Administration in charge of regulating generic drugs has appointed a new director, the agency said Friday.

The FDA announced the appointment of Gregory Geba as director of the Office of Generic Drugs, replacing acting director Keith Webber, effective Sunday.

Geba has served in various senior-level clinical and managerial positions in the drug industry for the past 15 years, most recently as deputy chief medical officer for Sanofi US, a subsidiary of French drug maker Sanofi.

PROVO, Utah — Tongue cleaner manufacturer Orabrush has added David Kelley, founder and chairman of the global innovation and design firm IDEO, and Mikel Chertudi, senior director of global media and demand marketing at Adobe, to its recently formed advisory board.

As advisory board members, Kelley and Chertudi will lend their expertise to the Orabrush team as the company builds on the momentum created by its digital marketing strategy on YouTube.
