Supervalu successfully completed the refinancing of its existing $1.5 billion senior secured term loan agreement.

MINNEAPOLIS — Supervalu on Thursday successfully completed the refinancing of its existing $1.5 billion senior secured term loan agreement. The amendment reduces the interest rate margin from 5% to 4% and reduces the LIBOR floor from 1.25% to 1% for LIBOR based loans.

TORONTO — Royal Bank of Canada and Canadian pharmacy retailer Shoppers Drug Mart have introduced a new cobranded RBC Shoppers Optimum MasterCard. In conjunction with the launch, RBC announced its intention to acquire the existing Shoppers Optimum MasterCard credit card portfolio.

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. — Kmart has introduced a walk-in bill payment service in its stores, the mass merchandise retail chain said Wednesday.

Kmart announced the introduction of the CheckFreePay walk-in bill payment service from Fiserv, which allows customers at all of the chain's stores to pay bills from more than 3,000 companies, including utility, credit card and auto loan bills, for $1.50 or less per transaction, with cash or a PIN-based debit card.
