ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. — Nexxus Salon Hair Care, in what it called a “first-of-its-kind” installation at a drug store chain, unveiled a window display tribute to the Tony Awards and Broadway at the Duane Reade store across from Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan. The installation was created by Simon Doonan, creative ambassador for Barneys New York, who is best known for his whimsical, and sometimes outrageous, window displays.

CHICAGO — AFAM Concept, the makers of Hawaiian Silky, has named celebrity Nicole Suarez as the brand ambassador for its Hawaiian Silky Moroccan Argan Oil hair care line.

Suarez is a model, reality TV star and correspondent for Univision who placed third in 2011 for the popular model competition Nuestra Belleza Latina ("Our Latin Beauty"). Suarez was crowned Srta. Tolima in May of 2010, allowing her to compete for a chance at the Miss Universe pageant, in an event televised in 29 countries across the world.

NEW YORK — Beauty tools manufacturer Tweezerman has tapped Olympic Gold medalist Lindsey Vonn to be its first-ever brand ambassador for North America.

Vonn is collaborating with Tweezerman and will participate in various marketing activities throughout the year, including Tweezerman’s first television commercial and a digital campaign.

TORONTO — Procter & Gamble’s hair care brand Pantene has announced that Canadian actress, philanthropist and star Lisa Ray is the new Pantene Beautiful Lengths ambassador in Canada; who will encourage Canadians to grow and share their hair for cancer.

Since 2008, Pantene Beautiful Lengths has inspired Canadians to grow, cut and donate their healthy-looking hair to provide real-hair wigs for women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatments — at no cost.

LOS ANGELES — Actress and Stand Up To Cancer ambassador Marg Helgenberger will appear in a new public service campaign on behalf of The Safeway Foundation and Stand Up To Cancer, the companies announced Wednesday.

Helgenberger, known for her role as Catherine Willows on the CBS drama "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," will appear in both a print and 30-second broadcast public service announcement in direct support of the campaign.

LONDON — Procter & Gamble, a worldwide Olympic partner, is celebrating the success of the London 2012 Paralympic Games, and is recognizing the performances delivered by the Canadian Paralympic Team.

P&G Canada sponsored Canadian Paralympic athlete Josh Cassidy, whose inspiring efforts during the 2012 Games highlighted his role as an ambassador for both P&G and all Canadian Paralympic athletes. LOS ANGELES — Beauty brand Wet 'n Wild — which is a division of Markwins North America — started the year by signing superstar Fergie as its very first global beauty ambassador, and now the brand has announced its expansion into an additional 500 Walmart stores beginning in late July.

Each new Walmart location will feature a two-foot fixture of Wet 'n Wild products. These new fixtures also will be the debut of Fergie, marking her first appearance in-store as the face of the brand.

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble has announced that Jordyn Wieber, reigning All-Around World Champion, will serve as an ambassador for P&G Beauty brands, including CoverGirl, Head & Shoulders, Olay and Venus.

Wieber will join fellow teammate Alicia Sacramone as P&G Beauty ambassador, expanding on her existing partnership with P&G and the company's sponsorship of Team USA during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
