Tesco placed its U.S. supermarket business Fresh & Easy on the sales bloc Wednesday, in conjunction with an announcement that Fresh & Easy CEO Tim Mason has left the company.

Fresh & Easy on Wednesday opened its second San Francisco area store.

SAN FRANCISCO — Fresh & Easy on Wednesday opened its second San Francisco area store.

The retailer said that its store will cater to the underserved Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood and marks the first grocery store opened in the community in the past 20 years.

Tesco's U.S. subsidiary Fresh & Easy said it's looking to fill more than 100 employee positions, including positions for four new California stores, the company announced Thursday.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Tesco's U.S. subsidiary Fresh & Easy said it's looking to fill more than 100 employee positions, including positions for four new California stores, the company announced Thursday.

Over the next several weeks, Fresh & Easy will open four new stores, which will be located in Los Angeles, Anaheim Hills, Calif., and Sunnyvale, Calif.
