ORRVILLE, Ohio — The J.M. Smucker Co. is introducing new breakfast mixes to its Hungry Jack line for the holiday season, the food products manufacturer said Wednesday.

The new products include waffle and pancake mix varieties that the company said would help families "bring back breakfast." They include the Complete Belgian Waffle Mix and such seasonal pancake mix varieties as pumpkin spice, cinnamon spice and Easy Pack Funfetti Holiday Buttermilk Pancake Mix.

ORRVILLE, Ohio — J. M. Smucker, has decreased the list price for many of its packaged coffee products due to sustained declines in green coffee costs.

Items sold under the Folgers, Dunkin' Donuts, Millstone and Cafe Bustelo brand names will see price decreased of an average 6%. The company noted that the Dunkin' Donuts brand is licensed to J. M. Smucker for packaged coffee products sold in such retail channels as grocery stores, mass merchandisers, club stores and drug stores.

The company said David Lemmon now would serve as VP and managing director of the company's Canada operations. Lemmon, who has been with the J. M. Smucker for 17 years, "has been instrumental in successfully implementing the company's growth strategy in Canada and helping the company achieve a leading market share position in several Canadian food and beverage categories," J. M. Smucker said.

Lemmon's promotion is effective May 1.

As previously reported by Drug Store News in February, the company announced that the price boost was driven by sustained increases in green coffee costs. ORRVILLE, Ohio — J.M. Smucker said it has completed its acquisition of the coffee brands and business operations of Rowland Coffee Roasters, a privately owned, Miami-based company.

The company completed the $360 million transaction with cash on hand and borrowings under its existing credit facility. The transaction is expected to contribute approximately 5 cents per diluted common share to fiscal 2012 earnings, excluding one-time costs of the transaction, J.M. Smucker said.
