Target Clinic has inked a new strategic relationship with healthcare system Duke Medicine in an effort to provide greater access to care at four new Target Clinic locations in Raleigh-Durham, N.C., which opened on July 29.

Physicians from Duke Primary Care will provide medical directorship services, such as availability for consultation with Target Clinic providers and regular chart reviews, at the four new clinics.

Target announced that 1,650 of its pharmacy locations, in addition to its clinics, are offering flu shots with no appointment necessary, effective Aug. 15.

MINNEAPOLIS — Target announced that 1,650 of its pharmacy locations, in addition to its clinics, are offering flu shots with no appointment necessary, effective Aug. 15.

Target pharmacists and clinicians at Target Clinic will administer flu shots during regular pharmacy and clinic hours — including evenings and weekends — for $25. This year's vaccine protects against seasonal flu, H1N1 and H3N2, another virus subtype that causes the flu, the company said.

MINNEAPOLIS — Target Clinic is slated to open eight new locations in three markets.

The clinics will open in Target stores in the Twin Cities, Chicago and Ft. Lauderdale-Davie areas by the end of July, bringing the total clinic count to 44. The first new Target Clinic location opened March 2 in Minnesota.

Target said expanding its clinic business will increase access to healthcare services.

MINNEAPOLIS Target officially announced on Monday the opening of eight new Target Clinic locations in Chicago and the Palm Beach, Fla., area.

MINNEAPOLIS Gearing up for flu season, Target will launch its nationwide flu vaccination program at its more than 1,600 pharmacies and Target Clinic locations beginning Sept. 1.

Target pharmacists and clinicians will administer the flu shots, at a cost of $24, during regular pharmacy and in-store clinic hours, including weekday evenings and weekends. Target Clinic locations also will offer the nasal spray for $36.
