Coca-Cola's Honest Tea brand is expanding its initial launch of Honest Fizz, a line of naturally sweetened zero calorie sodas.

BETHESDA, Md. — Coca-Cola's Honest Tea brand is expanding its initial launch of Honest Fizz, a line of naturally sweetened zero calorie sodas. Honest Fizz comes in four varieties: Lemon Limey, Orange Pop, Professor Fizz, and USDA Organic Root Beer — the only organic zero-calorie root beer on the market. Honest Tea is sweetened with a blend of stevia leaf extract and erythritol, a natural sugar alcohol. Low- and no calorie sodas are a fast-growing segment of the carbonated beverage market. Honest Fizz is available in 12-oz. single cans and six-packs.

NEW YORK — Vitacare has introduced a new product line designed for people with sensitive teeth, the company said Wednesday.

The oral care company announced the introduction of Chia Mint toothpaste, extra-soft toothbrush and gum.

Chia Mint includes vitamins A, C, D, E and calcium - together marketed as the Vita-Boost Complex - designed to heal, protect and strengthen gums and teeth, as well as extra potassium nitrate. Vitacare's products are sweetened with Xylitol and marketed as gluten- and fluoride-free and safe for pregnant women.

To help ensure the quality of popular food ingredients increasingly being incorporated into products sold in the United States and worldwide, standards for omega 3-rich krill oil and natural, low-calorie stevia sweeteners are among the latest proposed revisions to the Food Chemicals Codex, the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention that publishes the codex announced Wednesday.

They do not contain high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavorings and are a good source of calcium. Suggested retail for a box of eight individually wrapped Grahamfuls is $4.19.

Nectresse sweetener is available in both single-serve packets (40 servings) and canisters (140 servings) for suggested retail prices of $3.99 and $6.99, respectively.

The NuGo Slim bars contain 15 g of protein and have 180 calories and 2.5 g of saturated fat. Chicory root, a natural dietary fiber, adds 9 g of fiber and naturally sweetens the body of the bar.

CoolJuice will be available in Publix's Atlanta division, which includes stores in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and South Carolina. CoolJuice juice blends contain no added sugars, high-fructose corn syrup, preservatives or artificial colors or flavors.

PLANO, Texas — A Dr Pepper Snapple Group brand is getting refreshed.

The beverage giant is updating its Hawaiian Punch brand by bringing its surfer mascot to the 21st century with a computer-generated design, according to published reports.

And just five years after the 60-year-old brand launched, it has reformulated its Light Hawaiian Punch to include sweetener sucralose, only 10 calories and 100% of the USRDA for vitamin C. The original Hawaiian Punch also will trim down; the beverage will have 25% less calories and contain sucralose.
