LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Dodgers announced today their partnership of Mueller Sports Medicine and Quench Gum for the 2013 regular season. Mueller will provide the Dodgers players with Quench Gum and also their fans with special giveaways and promotions slated throughout the season.

SYDNEY — A Food and Drug Administration panel will consider whether to recommend approval for an experimental painkiller in July, the drug's developer said Friday.

Australia-based QRxPharma said the FDA had determined that an advisory committee would meet on July 17 to consider a resubmitted application for Moxduo, an immediate-release formulation of the opioid painkillers morphine and oxycodone.

CHICAGO — Marley Beverage Company, a partnership with the family of the legendary reggae artist that promotes a wide range of healthy, natural drinks, is set to relaunch One Drop, a ready-to-drink premium Jamaican coffee beverage made with real cane sugar and all-natural ingredients, the company announced this week.

A late start to the allergy season also is reducing the need for cough-cold stock. 

NILES, Mich. — Meijer will sell cupcake stands customized in local school colors under a partnership with the stands' Michigan-based manufacturer.

Niles, Mich.-based Cupcaketree.com announced a deal with Meijer, in which the mass merchandise retailer will sell the stands alongside its baked goods. The company has been selling the stands since 2001.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — The Food and Drug Administration has approved a drug for a type of lung cancer.

Roche subsidiary Genentech and the U.S. subsidiary of Japan's Astellas Pharma announced the approval of Tarceva (erlotinib) for advanced non-small cell lung cancer whose tumors have mutations that activate the epidermal growth factor receptor. The FDA also approved a test to detect the mutation.

The drug was already approved for advanced NSCLC that did not exhibit the mutation.
