BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Special K is expanding its portfolio with the new Special K Nourish, which is made with a multi-grain blend of superfoods, including quinoa, oats and barley.

Special K Nourish, which comes in hot cereal and nutrition bars, boasts 7g to 8g of protein and 5g of fiber with less than 200 calories.

To help weight-managers focus on — and maintain — positive nutrition, the brand has partnered with Food Network star and registered dietitian nutritionist Ellie Krieger.

LOS ANGELES — Nicole by OPI will produce three custom nail lacquer shades for Kellogg's Special K starting in April under a partnership with the cereal brand.

Nicole by OPI said shoppers will have the opportunity to receive three full-size bottles of its nail lacquer by signing up for the Kellogg's Family Rewards program and entering codes from specially marked boxes of Special K products while supplies last.

Building on the success of the brand's cracker chips, Special K has launched popcorn chips. Available in two varieties (butter and sweet and salty), the new chips are made with 100% real milled corn for a light and crispy texture. Each 28-chip serving has 120 calories and 2 g of total fat.
