CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble’s mouthwash brand Scope is introducing new branding and packaging.

The brand’s new persona is described as “Courage Encouraged” — a tingly, fear-destroyer that freshens breath and provides consumers with “kiss-ready confidence.”

Appearing at food festivals across the country, Scope introduced its latest collection of products featuring new Dual-Blast technology, which helps eliminate strong food odors, such as onion and garlic, while killing bad breath germs.

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble’s Scope hit the road this summer to encourage people to breathe easy after savoring the flavor of their favorite foods — especially onions and garlic. Appearing at food festivals across the country, Scope introduced its latest collection of products featuring new Dual-Blast technology, which helps eliminate strong food odors, such as onion and garlic, while killing bad breath germs.

The new offering includes Scope Dual-Blast mouthwash and Crest Complete Multi-Benefit Extra White + Scope Dual-Blast toothpaste.

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble announced that it has filed a lawsuit against a private-label manufacturer and distributor of mouthwash for allegedly violating the former's intellectual property.

P&G claimed in its suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, that Vi-Jon's mouthwash product carries a bottle and label shape design that is too similar to P&G's Scope Outlast mouthwash.
