The Flameless Wax Candles, currently available online and at mass market retailers, feature a realistic flickering LED “flame” and melted edge design at the top of the candle. A three-level timer allows the user to schedule the candle to turn off after four, six or eight hours of use; the candle also can be programmed to turn on at the same time every day.

Anheuser-Busch has shipped 4,312 cases of emergency drinking water — or 103,488 cans — to areas that were affected by Hurricane Isaac.

ST. LOUIS — Anheuser-Busch has shipped 4,312 cases of emergency drinking water — or 103,488 cans — to areas that were affected by Hurricane Isaac.

The company said the water has been made available to communities and relief organizations assisting impacted residents. Anheuser-Busch has donated more than 71 million cans of emergency drinking water following natural and other disasters since 1988.

ST. LOUIS — Forty-five percent of customers shopping in-store at brick-and mortar-locations will walk out and complete their purchase online for a discount as low as 2.5%, according to new showrooming research from GroupM Next.

This number jumps to 60% of shoppers who will leave and purchase a product online for a savings of 5%. When discovering an online discount of 20%, a small percentage of shoppers (13%) stay and complete their purchase in store.

ST. LOUIS — Ralcorp Holdings officially has turned its Post Foods cereal business into a tax-free spinoff to Ralcorp shareholders.

The deal, which was announced in July 2011, allows Ralcorp shareholders to hold shares of two stand-alone, publicly traded companies: Ralcorp and Post Foods. Now its own separate business, Ralcorp said it will produce private-label foods in the United States and also become a major producer of foodservice products.
