Pepsi goes retro with Ray Charles T-shirts

Pepsi announced that it is bringing back its memorable Diet Pepsi and Ray Charles ads for "You Got the Right One Baby, Uh-Huh!" with a line of retro T-shirts.

LOS ANGELES — Pepsi announced that it is bringing back its memorable Diet Pepsi and Ray Charles ads for "You Got the Right One Baby, Uh-Huh!" with a line of retro T-shirts.

The recent collaboration was brokered through The Joester Loria Group, Pepsi's exclusive licensing agency for North America, and Act III Licensing in conjunction with the Ray Charles Marketing Group, the licensing agency for The Ray Charles Foundation. The collection, designed by licensee Ripple Junction features imagery of the late music legend Ray Charles.

7UP is sporting two nostalgic looks designed by “The Celebrity Apprentice” finalists Marlee Matlin and John Rich.

PLANO, Texas — 7UP is sporting two nostalgic looks designed by “The Celebrity Apprentice” finalists Marlee Matlin and John Rich.

New 7UP Retro celebrates the brand's heritage by donning two designs similar to past looks last seen in the 1970s and 1980s. An in-store marketing campaign inspired by the decades will support the limited-edition packaging.

Procter & Gamble is taking its packaging for three of its laundry products to the past.

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble is taking its packaging for three of its laundry products to the past.

The company said that its Bounce, Downy and Tide brands will sport a retro look for a limited time, giving a nod to P&G's past advertising for the products.

Tide, Bounce and Downy vintage packages will be available at Target from May 22 through June 10. What's more, P&G will feature $1-off coupons for Tide and Bounce and 75-cent coupons for Downy in Sunday newspapers nationwide on May 29.

Hostess is going "old-school cool."

IRVING, Texas — Hostess is going "old-school cool."

For a limited time, the iconic snack cakes maker's treats, including chocolate cupcakes, Ding Dongs and Ho Hos, will tout retro packaging. Hostess also is bringing back the original banana Twinkie-filling recipe for a limited time.

The “baby carrots” in the mix are orange sherbet mellowcreme, while the “peas” are green apple flavor — a sweet version of a classic veggie combination.
