With more than $100 million saved by mPerks subscribers since 2010, Meijer is among the first retailers to provide interactive spending and savings information to customers. The new features are available for subscribers who enable the digital receipts option on their accounts and enter their mPerks ID each time at checkout.

While health insurance status was a major determinant of this satisfaction, even one-third of those who didn't have health insurance still reported they were satisfied.

Westwood Financial, a national owner-operator of shopping centers, has announced the expansion and remodel of a Hy-Vee supermarket at its Applewood Centre in Omaha, Neb.

OMAHA, Neb. — Westwood Financial, a national owner-operator of shopping centers, has announced the expansion and remodel of a Hy-Vee supermarket at its Applewood Centre here.

The current 60,000-sq.-ft. store will be expanded by 10,500 sq. ft. to accommodate a pharmacy drive-thru, in-store restaurant and wine & spirits store.

Supervalu on Thursday reorganized its operations in an effort to streamline the independent business organization.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Supervalu on Thursday reorganized its operations in an effort to streamline the independent business organization. As part of the new structure, Supervalu's independent business will consolidate from three regions to two regions, forming new East and West teams. The new East and West independent business regions will be located in Mechanicsville, Va., and Hopkins, Minn., respectively. 

To lead the new organizations, Supervalu has named Kevin Kemp president of the East region and Bill Chew president of the West region.

NEW YORK — Walgreens' Duane Reade stores will be promoting its allergy remedies on days with high allergy indexes through Poncho, a text- and email-based weather app, according to a story published by Mashable on Tuesday. 

The offering will be Poncho's first step into monetizing its service, according to the report. 

The promotion, which was negotiated by OMD Ignition Factory according to the report, will run through June 7.

According to Lewis, 1-in-5 Americans has a disability, and nearly 70% of people with disabilities and 95% with severe cognitive disabilities, such as autism, will never hold down a job.

“As experience has shown in prior data security incidents at other companies, it is difficult to ascertain with certainty the scope of a data security breach/incident prior to the completion of a comprehensive forensic investigation. As a result, we will not speculate as to the scope or nature of the data security incident,” the company stated.

Along with Schneiderman and DeWine, the Attorneys General of 28 states and territories have written to the CEOs of WalMart, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Safeway and Kroger, asking them to remove all tobacco products from their shelves.
