Retail-based clinic operator RediClinic recently hit a milestone as it served its one-millionth patient in August.

HOUSTON — Retail-based clinic operator RediClinic recently hit a milestone as it served its one-millionth patient in August.

“This would not have been possible without the support of our loyal patients, who have embraced our unique model of high-quality, convenient and affordable healthcare," stated RediClinic CEO Web Golinkin in a letter recently emailed patients.

To celebrate the milestone, the email features coupons with 15% off a B-12 shot, $15 dollars off a travel healthy visit and a free body mass index reading.

RediClinic introduces Weigh Forward

RediClinic, which operates 29 clinics inside H-E-B grocery stores in Houston, Austin and San Antonio, is launching in May the new Weigh Forward medically supervised weight-loss program.

HOUSTON — RediClinic, which operates 29 clinics inside H-E-B grocery stores in Houston, Austin and San Antonio, is launching in May the new Weigh Forward medically supervised weight-loss program.

Weigh Forward, which was developed in partnership with weight-loss expert David Katz, will be available starting May 16 at all 29 RediClinic locations.

RediClinic's operations to nearly double

RediClinic has announced that it will open 20 new clinics inside H-E-B grocery stores across Texas, which will nearly double the number of RediClinics currently operating within H-E-B.

HOUSTON — RediClinic has announced that it will open 20 new clinics inside H-E-B grocery stores across Texas, which will nearly double the number of RediClinics currently operating within H-E-B.

Eight clinics are slated to open across the Houston, Austin and San Antonio markets by the end of January. The three new San Antonio clinics will operate in affiliation with Methodist Healthcare System, San Antonio.

HOUSTON The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now is recommending that everybody older than 6 months of age get vaccinated for the flu, as the flu has begun appearing in various states and last year’s H1N1 flu is expected to appear again.

 

In response, RediClinic is offering two options for vaccination: the traditional injectable vaccine and a nasal spray version.

Dan Inouye, D-Hawaii, and Thad Cochran, D-Miss., introduced a Senate resolution.
