According to data provided by SymphonyIRI Group, sales of bath fragrances/bubble bath rose about 3% for the 12 weeks ended Aug. 12 at food, drug and mass (excluding Walmart). During that same period, sales of body scrubbers/massagers declined 5%, as sales of liquid body wash also dropped about 5%.

NEW YORK — Lornamead has announced the launch in April of its new Finesse Color Lock styling products, which offer a new advanced system to get longer-lasting color as part of a regular home styling routine.

Finesse Color Lock styling products contain a patented polymer system with water-resistant, film-forming properties. The polymer sets hair style and also helps seal in hair color pigments, allowing hair to retain up to 75% more color through repeated shampooing, the company stated.

“Up until now, people with sensitive skin or allergies had to settle for expensive specialty or salon products to meet their needs. Now, they have a good, affordable option for the whole family where they usually shop for shampoo,” stated Randy Sloan, president of Lornamead, which acquired the brand from Unilever in 2006.
