BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Walmart and the Salvation Army on Tuesday announced the second annual "Fill the Truck" toy drive, which will help bring toys to thousands of children. The toy drive begins Nov. 29 through Dec. 15 on select weekends in 1,600 stores across the country.

NEW YORK — Chain Store Age will celebrate its 50th annual SPECS show with a very special opening keynote: A Conversation with President George W. Bush.

The 43rd president of the United States will give the keynote at SPECS, the industry’s premier store development and facilities event, on Monday, March 10, 2014, at the Gaylord Texan Hotel, Grapevine, Texas. The full conference will run March 9 – 12, 2014.

Sam's Club announced that it is teaming up with the Salvation Army and Off the Field professional football players' wives association for the fifth annual Dream Drive for the Salvation Army.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Sam's Club announced that it is teaming up with the Salvation Army and Off the Field professional football players' wives association for the fifth annual Dream Drive for the Salvation Army.

Twenty pre-selected families from the Salvation Army Adopt-A-Family program in 10 different cities will receive $1,000 worth of gifts, including food, clothes, personal items and toys from Sam's Club. As part of the Dream Drive campaign, Off the Field representatives will be shopping at their local Sam's Clubs on Dec. 8 to purchase items for these families.
