Stracciatella, Sea Salt Caramel, Dark Chocolate Chip, Limoncello, Black Cherry Amaretto, Vanilla Bean and Cappuccino will join the wide array of Haagen-Dazs products currently available in the frozen foods sections of grocers and supermarkets nationwide.

The new flavors include two made with coconut water, the first coconut water-based frozen fruit bars on the market, according to the company.

The study, which the healthcare system called the first to show a significant difference in risk between short-acting and long-acting opioids, appeared in The Clinical Journal of Pain.

OAKLAND, Calif. — Hidden Valley is updating the packaging on its salad dressing products to address gluten-sensitive and gluten-intolerant customers.

The company said it now will include a "gluten-free" logo to bottles and dry packets of its Original Ranch dressing, as well as much of its Farmhouse Originals product line. Packages with the new logo are slated to appear on store shelves this summer.

Dreyer's and Edy's announced that their fruit bars now include a mango flavor, which will be available nationwide this spring. In addition to the new flavor, a 12-count variety pack of tropical flavors, including coconut, orange and pineapple, also will launch at retail.

Mango fruit bars will carry a suggested retail price of $4.19. The 12-count tropical variety pack will carry a suggested retail price of $4.39.

Fair Trade USA said that the Fair Trade market in 2010 saw a boost in both new and existing product categories. New products included apparel, green peppers, vodka and a wide array of herbs, spices and extracts. What's more, Fair Trade coffee and cocoa continued to expand. Breast cancer survivors who experienced severe weight gain (10% or more over their pre-diagnosis weight) were 14% more likely to experience a cancer recurrence, compared with women whose weight remained stable (within 5% of pre-diagnosis weight) following diagnosis.
