GLENDALE, Calif. — Nestle today announced new additions to its line of Valentine’s Day offerings.

This season's collection includes the new Wonka Lik-M-Aid Fun Dip Mystery Flavor Valentine Exchange Kit. Returning this year are Lik-M-Aid Fun Dip Valentine Exchange Kit, Nestlé Crunch and Butterfinger Hearts, Wonka's best-selling Nerds , Pixy Stix, or Laffy Taffy Candy and Card Kits, Wonka Sweetarts Lollipops and Wonka Sweetarts Hearts.

Nestlé on Tuesday named Luis Cantarell head of Nestlé Nutrition with the departure of Kurt Schmidt, deputy EVP Nestlé Nutrition, who has decided to leave the company for personal reasons effective Dec. 1.

VEVEY, Switzerland — Nestlé on Tuesday named Luis Cantarell head of Nestlé Nutrition with the departure of Kurt Schmidt, deputy EVP Nestlé Nutrition, who has decided to leave the company for personal reasons effective Dec. 1. 

Cantarell will assume this role in addition to his current responsibilities as president and CEO of Nestlé Health Science. Between 2001 and 2005, he was in charge of Nestlé’s Nutrition Strategic Business Division.

Jamba is looking to expand the distribution and retail outlets of its all-natural energy drinks line beyond the Northeast market.

EMERYVILLE, Calif. — Jamba is looking to expand the distribution of its all-natural energy drinks line beyond the Northeast market.

Jamba said it is finalizing an agreement with Nestlé to acquire the product formulation and intellectual property for the Jamba all-natural energy drink.

Nestlé EVP and CFO Jim Singh will retire in March 2012 after 35 years with the company.

VEVEY, Switzerland — Nestlé EVP and CFO Jim Singh will retire in March 2012 after 35 years with the company.

Replacing Singh is Wan Ling Martello, who currently serves as Walmart's EVP global e-commerce of emerging markets. She will succeed Singh on April 1, 2012.
