That was a key message that National Association of Chain Drug Stores president and CEO Steve Anderson had for attendees of the NACDS Pharmacy and Technology Conference being held in Denver. However, he also warned against complacency.

NACDS aims to enhance Pharmacy & Technology Conference experience with mobile app

The National Association of Chain Drug Stores has announced the launch of its 2011 Pharmacy & Technology Conference mobile Web-based application.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The National Association of Chain Drug Stores has announced the launch of its 2011 Pharmacy & Technology Conference mobile Web-based application.

The app is designed to enhance attendees’ efficiency and experience at the NACDS Pharmacy & Technology Conference, which runs from Aug. 27 to 30 in Boston. In addition, the NACDS mobile website —  m.NACDS.org — features information about the upcoming conference and all 2011 NACDS events.

NACDS to consolidate major conferences in 2013

Early Sunday morning at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Annual Meeting, NACDS announced that in 2013 it will unify its current NACDS Marketplace Conference, NACDS Pharmacy & Technology Conference and NACDS Supply Chain & Logistics Conference into one new event, called the “NACDS Total Store Expo.”

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Early Sunday morning at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Annual Meeting, NACDS announced that in 2013 it will unify its current NACDS Marketplace Conference, NACDS Pharmacy & Technology Conference and NACDS Supply Chain & Logistics Conference into one new event, called the “NACDS Total Store Expo.” NACDS said the transformation of its conference program was based on input from member companies and a long-term vision for bringing business partners together in an innovative conference environment.
