To get answers to these questions, as well as many others, DSNTV once again took to the streets of Manhattan to speak with women to get their perspectives. “Insights Into Women’s Health Part 2” is the second of a two-part series sponsored by Insight Pharmaceuticals, whose brands include e.p.t and Monistat.

Every November, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces all over the world. "Mo Bros," as they are affectionately known, grow moustaches beginning on Nov. 1 to raise funds and awareness to combat prostate and testicular cancer in the United States.

As part of Team Gillette, they can join a star-studded lineup of Movember supporters, including Kate Upton as team captain, Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews, New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola and New England Revolution defender Kevin Alston.

Safeway on Friday announced that its stores raised $10.3 million during the company's annual Prostate Cancer Awareness campaign.

PLEASANTON, Calif. — Safeway on Friday announced that its stores raised $10.3 million during the company's annual Prostate Cancer Awareness campaign.

For the 13th consecutive year, Safeway's entire chain of more than 1,600 stores dedicated a month to raising money and increasing awareness for the fight against prostate cancer, which currently affects more than two million American men and remains the second-leading cause of cancer death for men in the United States.

NEW YORK — Former Kinray owner Stewart Rahr has made a large donation to an organization looking for a cure for prostate cancer.

Saying the move "stunned the crowd," Rahr announced at a gathering at the Hamptons on New York's Long Island that he would donate $3 million to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, an initiative run by investor Michael Milken, who was host to the event.

Other attendees included David Koch, Eddie Trump, former New York Gov. David Patterson and others.

LOS ANGELES — The editor-in-chief of a website directed at the Latino community has launched a newsletter and website focused on health and wellness.

Aliza Lifshitz, editor of VidaySalud.com and often known by the nickname La Doctora Aliza, announced the launch of Latina Health Letter. The new site will cover various aspects of health in English from a Latina perspective, with sections dedicated to women's health, diet, nutrition, exercise, sexual health, diabetes and others.

To regular readers of DSN, the idea of pharmacists as the face of neighborhood health care or physician extender is old news. But it's still a relatively new concept to the public at large, and that's why the Men's Health article is such a big deal and why it got a response from National Association of Chain Drug Stores' president and CEO Steven Anderson.

Sam's Club will host free health screenings for men's health next month, the club retailer said.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Sam's Club will host free health screenings for men's health next month, the club retailer said.

Sam's Club said it would offer free screenings at all of its 565 stores with pharmacies on June 8 for Men's Health Month. The screenings include screenings for prostate cancer, as well as thyroid tests for women, blood pressure tests, body mass index and vision tests.

NEW YORK — A new survey indicated that almost 70% of men have an easier time taking care of their cars than their own health.

The survey of 501 men ages 45 to 65 years, which was commissioned by the Men’s Health Network and drug maker Abbott, also found that more than 40% would be more likely to address car issues than health issues, while 28% don’t visit the doctor regularly, and 56% said they were more worried about their spouse’s health than their own.
