SAN FRANCISCO A creator of customized mobile phone covers and electronic devices has developed designs that feature images from the Academy Award-winning film “Avatar.”

“‘Avatar’ featured iconic imagery and memorable characters that captivated movie-goers around the world,” said Coveroo’s CEO and co-founder Karl Jacob. “Coveroo brings these characters and images to consumer’s phones and other personal electronics using our unique HighColor and Laser Engraving process.”

Strawberry Shortcake will be featured in an exclusive, limited-edition line of greeting cards. The launch coincides with the debut of Strawberry Shortcake's all-new animated television series "Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures" on The Hub, a new TV network for kids and families.

WAYZATA, Minn. A zero-calorie sweetener has launched an advertising campaign.

Truvia's Sweetness Stories, a new multimillion-dollar print, television, digital and social media advertising campaign, is designed to connect with consumers on an emotional level, the company said. The campaign includes four 30-second television spots, as well as 15-second spots that will run nationally on network, cable and digital. The new print campaign will run in a variety of national publications. A social media program also is planned.

LOS ANGELES Paramount Licensing has inked a deal with Ripple Junction to manufacture T-shirts based on hit films.

 

Some designs, which include "Days of Thunder," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "The Naked Gun," are in stores now, and others will be hitting the marketplace throughout the fall season. 

 

Suggested retail price ranges from $17 to $20 each.
