Procter & Gamble's Charmin brand broke the Guinness World Record for the world's largest toilet roll.

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble's Charmin brand broke the Guinness World Record for the world's largest toilet roll.

Charmin said on Friday, which marks National Toilet Paper Day, that the roll measures more than 8 ft. high and a diameter for more than 9 ft. wide and is made entirely of Charmin toilet tissue. The roll was created at P&G's Paper Products company, located outside of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and transported to P&G's headquarters in Cincinnati for the unveiling.

Sears Holdings announced Tuesday that Robert Schriesheim will join the company as EVP and CFO.

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. — Sears Holdings announced Tuesday that Robert Schriesheim will join the company as EVP and CFO. Schriesheim, who starts with the company immediately as EVP, will assume his responsibilities as CFO, effective Aug. 22.

Schriesheim, 51, most recently was CFO for Hewitt Associates, leading the company's global financial and administrative roles until its merger with Aon.

PHILADELPHIA — A generic pharmaceutical company announced that its CFO has resigned.

Lannett said that Keith Ruck has exited the company to pursue other interests. The company expects to name a successor soon.

“During his tenure, Keith improved the performance of our accounting and financial reporting team,” Lannett president and CEO Arthur Bedrosian said. “In addition, he was instrumental in upgrading our internal controls and business processes. I would like to thank Keith for his hard work and wish him well in his future endeavors.”

RACINE, Wis. — Global advertising agencies BBDO and Ogilvy & Mather have been selected to serve the marketing needs of SC Johnson, the company announced Friday.

SC Johnson said that BBDO will support the company's pest control and home storage divisions, while Ogilvy & Mather will support SC Johnson's home fragrance and home cleaning divisions.

Prior to the announcement, advertising agency network Draftfcb served the global marketing needs of SC Johnson.

NEW YORK — A new survey indicated that almost 70% of men have an easier time taking care of their cars than their own health.

The survey of 501 men ages 45 to 65 years, which was commissioned by the Men’s Health Network and drug maker Abbott, also found that more than 40% would be more likely to address car issues than health issues, while 28% don’t visit the doctor regularly, and 56% said they were more worried about their spouse’s health than their own.

TOKYO — Japanese cosmetics company Pola Orbis Holdings plans to acquire H2O Plus, a privately held developer, manufacturer and marketer of prestige, branded marine-based natural skin care products for the face and body.

Headquartered in Chicago, H2O Plus is majority-owned by investment companies Cordova, Smart & Williams and New MainStream Capital, as well as Robert Seidl and other members of senior management.

The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in July.

Beginning in July, both women will appear in all elements of the brand's marketing campaign, including TV and print advertising, in-store displays, iMedia and public relations campaigns.
