Unilever-owned tea company Lipton is looking to breathe new life into a brand more than 130 years old.

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. — Unilever-owned tea company Lipton is looking to breathe new life into a brand more than 130 years old.

Lipton announced Thursday its "Uplift Your Day" campaign surrounding its flagship black tea brand, introduced by Sir Thomas Lipton in 1879. The campaign will include television, digital, in-store, social networking and public relations, as well as a worldwide contest on Instagram.

PURCHASE, N.Y. — Lipton Iced Tea's beverages now are boasting an all-natural ingredient list.

New 100% natural Lipton Iced Tea will be available in green tea with citrus, iced tea with lemon, iced tea with blueberry pomegranate and green tea with passionfruit mango flavors. Lipton Iced Tea's diet portfolio also will expand with new diet green tea with watermelon joining diet green tea with citrus flavor.

Each bottle will retail from 99 cents to $1.59 and will be available in 20-oz. bottles.

ORLANDO, Fla. — A joint venture between PepsiCo and Unilever has tapped a Hall of Fame golfer to promote ready-to-drink iced teas throughout the state of Florida.

The Pepsi Lipton Tea partnership said Annika Sorenstam will promote Lipton ready-to-drink iced teas through in-market appearances and regional advertising for its portfolio of RTD iced tea products, which includes Lipton and Lipton Pure Leaf iced teas.

PepsiCo's Brisk Iced Tea is getting animated.

PURCHASE, N.Y. — PepsiCo's Brisk Iced Tea is getting animated.

The iced tea brand has launched clay puppet animation films with iconic celebrities. The first film featured actor Danny Trejo, star of action film "Machete." The second Web film, featuring rock star Ozzy Osbourne, will premiere Jan. 14.

The films build on Brisk's clay animation spots that debuted in the '90s.
