Perfecta Products expands distribution of Zim's Maximum Heat

Perfecta Products on Wednesday announced expansion of its Zim's Maximum Heat external analgesic.

NORTH LIMA, Ohio — Perfecta Products on Wednesday announced expansion of its Zim's Maximum Heat external analgesic.

Maximum Heat is indicated for the temporary relief of muscle, back, shoulder and neck pain. It is the sister product of Perfecta's Zim's Max-Freeze. Zim's Maximum Heat is formulated with aloe, arnica, vitamin E and tea tree oil.

Both the 2.5-oz. Zim's Maximum Heat Roll-On and 3.5-oz. tube of Zim's Maximum Heat retail for a suggested $10.49.

Walgreens was named Best Retailer of the Year by the Licensing Industry Merchandiser's Association for its Biggest Loser line of meal replacement bars and shakes licensed through NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products in May 2011.

Hetty Lima has been tapped to serve as Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy's VP specialty infusion services, the company announced this week.

FLINT, Mich. — Hetty Lima has been tapped to serve as Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy's VP specialty infusion services, the company announced this week.

In her new role, Lima will will be responsible for leading the sales and operations for Diplomat’s specialty infused product lines, including the national nursing network.

Lima, a 27-year industry veteran, served in various executive-level positions at such companies as Baxter Healthcare, CVS Caremark’s specialty pharmacy division and Coram’s Hemophilia Services division.

Counterfeit drugs are a problem that won’t go away. In a recent segment on CBS’ “60 Minutes,” Sanjay Gupta explored the dark underworld of drug counterfeiting. While covering the bust of a counterfeiting operation in Lima, Peru, Gupta ­— himself a doctor — said he couldn’t tell the drugs were fake.
