FONTANA, Calif. — Brush Buddies, a maker of of licensed manual toothbrushes, and Global Merchandising Services has announced that One Direction is the newest artist to be featured on the line of Brush Buddies Singing Toothbrushes. 

Brush Buddies created the Singing Toothbrush category during the summer of 2011 with their launch of two products that each feature two hit songs by Justin Bieber. Brush Buddies expanded the category with new products in 2012 featuring new songs by Bieber and artists Lady Gaga and LMFAO.

MINNEAPOLIS — Target's deal with Lady Gaga may have fallen through, but that doesn't mean the retailer has lost its ability to court the music industry.

Case in point, the company announced Monday that it is partnering with Grammy and Academy Award-winning singer and actress Jennifer Hudson for the exclusive, deluxe edition of her second studio album, "I Remember Me." The deluxe edition, including four additional new songs and bonus video material, will be available only at Target stores nationwide and on Target.com beginning March 22.

Supplier News — Coty officially has announced that it is working with Lady Gaga to develop and market the American pop singer’s first signature fragrance. The yet-to-be named fragrance will launch in spring 2012. Distributed worldwide, the fragrance will be managed by the Coty Beauty division in close collaboration with Lady Gaga, who will be creative director, and her Haus of Gaga team.

NEW YORK Lady Gaga's meat dress, which she wore at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, still may be causing a stir, but there's another Gaga-related buzz hitting the newswires: her fragrance deal with Coty.

 

Coty has not yet issued a formal announcement detailing the specifics of the launch, but the company did state in a comment sent to Drug Store News: "Coty is excited to be partnering with Lady Gaga to develop her first-ever signature fragrance. We will be unveiling additional information regarding our dynamic partnership at a later date."
