Kraft Foods and SodaStream have expanded their strategic partnership.

NORTHFIELD, Ill., and AIRPORT CITY, Israel — Kraft Foods and SodaStream have expanded their strategic partnership.

The companies said that their co-branded portfolio now will include Kraft Foods' Kool-Aid brand and initially will include cherry, grape and tropical punch flavors. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The company said its decision to shift its listing — which still will trade under the ticker symbol KFT — will yield greater cost efficiencies, while providing visibility advantages for the company's iconic brands. Kraft Foods begin trading on NASDAQ on June 26.

Packaged in the popular 6-oz. Capri Sun pouch, Capri Sun Super V contains a combined serving of fruits and vegetables (75% from fruit juice and 25% from vegetable juice) and also is fortified to be a good source of fiber, the company said.

The company announced its plans to pull Athenos Greek yogurt, despite the substantial growth experienced by the category. Kraft Foods generated buzz around the brand last year with the launch of an advertising campaign that featured yiayias, or Greek grandmothers, and their no-nonsense, unsolicited opinions of the world.

GLENVIEW, Ill. — Kraft Foods is bringing a new snack to the refrigerated dairy aisle.

New Kraft MilkBite milk and granola bars combine milk with whole grain granola and other ingredients, such as fruit or roasted nuts, while providing the same calcium as an 8-oz. glass of milk, the company said. The bars are available in five flavors, including chocolate, strawberry, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin and mixed berry, for a suggested retail price of $3.49.

GLENVIEW, Ill. — Kraft Foods has unveiled Kraft Fresh Take, the company's latest mealtime solution, in dairy aisles nationwide.

Kraft Fresh Take combines Kraft Natural cheeses and seasoned breadcrumbs that are designed to provide a "flavor upgrade" to ordinary dishes, the company said. The product launch also includes a website, KraftFreshTake.com, which houses recipes that use Kraft Fresh Take as an ingredient.

NORTHFIELD, Ill. — Kraft reportedly is gearing up to roll out a caffeinated version of its liquid water enhancer brand MiO, according to published reports.

The regular-sized bottle of caffeine-fueled MiO is expected to tout 18 servings. When a half-teaspoon of MiO Energy is mixed with 8 oz. of water, it creates a beverage that contains 60-mg of caffeine — about the same as one 6-oz. cup of coffee. The product will be marketed to those ages 18 years and older and is set to launch next month, according to the Financial Times.

NORTHFIELD, Ill. — Net revenues for Kraft Foods realized an 11.5% boost, the company reported in its third-quarter earnings release.

Third-quarter net revenues totaled $13.2 billion for the period ended Sept. 30. Additionally, diluted earnings per share also saw a strong gain, rising nearly 21% to 52 cents, compared with the year-ago period.
