Kimberly-Clark Co. announced a new addition to its line of kids potty training pants with characters from the sequel to Disney's Monsters Inc.

NEENAH, Wis. — Kimberly-Clark Co. announced today a new addition to its line of kids potty training pants with characters from the sequel to Disney's "Monsters, Inc."

Kimberly-Clark has added Monsters University character potty training pants to its line of baby products, offering a new, fun way for parents and children to enjoy the ritual of potty training. The new licensing agreement comes in the midst of National Potty Training Month in June.

DALLAS — Paper-products manufacturer Kimberly-Clark has appointed Jennifer Sepull as its chief information officer and VP information technology services, the company said Monday.

Sepull, who will report to SVP and CFO Mark Buthman, previously was VP and chief information officer of the information systems division at American Honda Motor Co. She also previously worked for IBM and pursued several business ventures.

DALLAS — Kimberly-Clark has announced the appointment of former Kraft Foods executive Michael Hsu as president of North America consumer products, succeeding Robert Abernathy, who announced his intent to retire after more than 30 years with the company. 

Abernathy will remain with K-C through 2013 to oversee the European strategic changes announced last month in K-C's earnings call. Abernathy and Hsu will report to chairman and CEO Thomas Falk.

Poise Feminine Wellness represents the Poise brand's expansion into the feminine wellness category in the United States and Canada, following a rollout in parts of Latin America, Kimberly-Clark said. The line features five products designed to work naturally with a woman's body during menopause, including: roll-on cooling gel; body cooling towelettes; personal lubricant; panty fresheners and feminine wash.

The series, which started May 7, is featured on the Kotex Natural Balance Facebook page and YouTube channel. McDonald stars in the series, calling out the jargon in the category (what does nano-breeze maxi pad technology even mean?) and invites women to join in the conversation.

DALLAS — Kimberly-Clark announced that its Scott Naturals brand has earned the Green Good Housekeeping Seal for three products.

Scott Naturals dry bath tissue, paper towels and napkins have met the Good Housekeeping Green Seal's environmental standard for paper goods, based on recycled content and other factors, Kimberly-Clark said. The Scott Naturals dry bath tissue, paper towels and napkins are made with a blend of virgin material and at least 20% recycled material in products or packaging.

Spencer, who serves as Kimberly-Clark's SVP continuous improvement, sourcing and sustainability, will retire July 1. No successor has been named at this time, the company said.

The company said Kimberly-Clark Professional president Christian Brickman has been elected to serve as president Kimberly-Clark International. The current president of the company's international division, Bob Black, is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities. Replacing Brickman in his current role is Elaine Stock, who currently serves as Kimberly-Clark's SVP and chief strategy officer.
