Folgers coffee, part of the J.M. Smucker Company, has introduced a new line of concentrated coffees that do not require brewing, the company announced.

ORRVILLE, Ohio — Folgers coffee, part of the J.M. Smucker Company, has introduced a new line of concentrated coffees that do not require brewing, the company announced today.

Folgers Fresh Breaks Roasted Concentrated Coffee is made with ultra-fine ground coffee in a single-serving packet that prepares an 8 oz. cup. The new Fresh Breaks coffees come in three varieties: mild-roasted Breakfast Blend; Mountain Grown, 100% Colombian medium-dark roast; and Black Silk, dark-roast.

CINCINNATI — Sunny Delight is refocusing its North American business with the acquisition of a manufacturing plant owned by the J.M. Smucker Co., and is updating all five of its North American manufacturing facilities and data systems.

The $70 million upgrade, which will diversify Sunny Delight's business in North America, will improve its "corporate profitability, manufacturing efficiency and environmental footprint," said Ellen Iobst, the company's SVP manufacturing and technology.
