Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton will speak at one of the morning business sessions of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores' Total Store Expo in August, the trade group said.

ARLINGTON, Va. — Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton will speak at one of the morning business sessions of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores' Total Store Expo in August, the trade group said Monday.

Clinton, who served as state secretary from 2009 until earlier this year, will speak during the Aug. 12 program. TSE, which will combine the Pharmacy and Technology, Marketplace and Supply Chain and Logistics conferences, will take place in Las Vegas.

According to reports, the cause of death was a heart attack.

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble has announced a string of organizational changes, including the retirement of Edward Shirley, vice chairman of beauty and grooming, after 33 years of service.

Shirley will retire from P&G, effective Jan. 1, 2012. Until that time, effective July 1, 2011, Shirley has been named vice chairman on special assignment, continuing to report to Robert McDonald, P&G chairman, president and CEO. ARLINGTON, Va. As members of Congress move to try and force China to revalue its currency, the renminbi yuan, retailers are weighing in on the issue.

The Retail Industry Leaders Association, which represents more than 200 retailers, manufacturers and suppliers, asked lawmakers Friday to reject legislation under consideration Friday morning by the House Ways and Means Committee that would pressure China on its currency by imposing tariffs on products imported from there.
