Procter & Gamble’s Duracell brand, together with Powermat Technologies, have introduced Duracell Powermat, a 24-hour power system that works with iPhone 4 and 4S products. The Powermat includes three components: a charging mat that serves as a wireless power transmitter, a smartphone case and a portable backup battery that acts as a personal portable charger.


PALO ALTO, Calif. — Aisle411, a mobile retail navigation service, on Tuesday announced that its virtual mapping and navigation smartphone application is available to use in all of Walgreens' 7,907 drug stores nationwide.

With Aisle411's in-store mapping platform, customers can use their smartphones to view maps of any Walgreens store, allowing shoppers to locate products down to a particular section of each aisle. Walgreens is the first national retailer with all of its stores mapped in a mobile application, Aisle411 stated.

DEERFIELD, Ill. — Walgreens on Tuesday extended its innovation in mobile technology with the introduction of a developer portal that allows third-party software developers to integrate the Walgreens QuickPrints software development kit, enabling photo printing directly from iPhone and Android mobile devices.
