MANNO, SWITZERLAND — The Council for Responsible Nutrition-International on Thursday named several new officers to its board of directors.

Herbalife's John Venardos has been elected chairman and Tyler Whitehead of Nu Skin Enterprises has been elected vice chairman. The Vitamin Shoppe's David Morrison has been named secretary; Carl Hastings of Reliv International has been named treasurer; and Mark LeDoux of Natural Alternatives International has become the immediate past chairman.

The Council for Responsible Nutrition on Wednesday announced that Daniel Fabricant, director of the Division of Dietary Supplement Programs at the Food and Drug Administration, will deliver the keynote address at The Conference: CRN’s Annual Symposium for the Dietary Supplement Industry on Oct. 20 in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.

Taylor Wallace succeeds Andrew Shao at CRN

The Council for Responsible Nutrition on Monday named Taylor Wallace to the post of senior director, scientific and regulatory affairs.

WASHINGTON — The Council for Responsible Nutrition on Monday named Taylor Wallace to the post of senior director, scientific and regulatory affairs.

“Dr. Wallace’s background will nicely complement that of our well-established scientific team, and we’re looking forward to the fresh perspective his background will provide,” CRN president and CEO Steve Mister said. “We were impressed with the amount of work he has published in his short career along with the relationships he has built within the scientific research community.”
