Unique collages also can be created directly from an iPhone. Walgreens is the first retailer to provide the ability to create collage prints using a mobile device and pick them up in about an hour, the company stated. Photos for these creations easily can be uploaded from the user’s phone, Facebook or Instagram albums.

CVS Caremark plans to shorten the length of in-store receipts members of its ExtraCare loyalty program receive by about 25%. In a recent Facebook posting, CVS announced that in response to customer complaints it had found a way to shorten the length of receipts without reducing the amount of ExtraCare rewards and savings offered on them.

WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Caremark plans to shorten the length of in-store receipts members of its ExtraCare loyalty program receive by about 25%. In a recent Facebook posting, CVS announced that in response to customer complaints it had found a way to shorten the length of receipts without reducing the amount of ExtraCare rewards and savings offered on them.

In addition, next year CVS will allow ExtraCare members to receive all rewards and savings directly to their card. Currently only select offers can be stored paperlessly on ExtraCare cards.

Njoy, whose ads have appeared on New York streets and which recently posted an ad on YouTube featuring rock musician Courtney Love using language not exactly suitable for prime-time television, received the investment from early Facebook investor Sean Parker and Homewood Capital principal Douglas Teitelbaum, the latter of whom will join Njoy's board of directors.
