New TamaTown Tama-Go virtual pets now are available at retailers nationwide, Bandai America said. The redesigned TamaTown Tama-Go features a new high-contrast, four gray-scale display screen, a changeable design face plate and the choice of Gotchi figure.

MIAMI Pampers is looking to connect with Hispanic consumers through a partnership with Spanish-language television newscaster Barbara Bermudo.

As part of the deal, Pampers will debut a Spanish-language blog and series of mommy video casts with content that it developed with Bermudo. The new interactive resource will offer Hispanic moms a place to connect with other moms and share useful information to assist with their baby's development and well-being.

GREENWICH, Conn. Mary Elizabeth Deming Combe, who founded health and beauty care company Combe Inc. in 1949 with her husband, passed away at her home on Sept. 20. She was 94.

In 1938, Combe graduated from Ohio State University and married the late Ivan Combe. Eleven years later, they founded Combe Inc. and built it into one of the largest privately owned health and beauty care companies in the country. The team created such well-known brands as Clearasil, Just For Men hair color and Odor-Eaters.

CINCINNATI A company that makes equipment for pharmacy drive-through lanes has a new energy-efficient product.

E.F. Bavis announced the launch of the Bavis Solar Captive Carrier TransTrax conveyor delivery system. The new system is a solar version of the original TransTrax, designed to replace pneumatic tube systems. According to comparative estimates, E.F. Bavis said, pneumatic tube systems annually produce nearly 3,000 lbs. of carbon dioxide.
