BOSTON — Sunstar Americas and Crayola have partnered on a new children's toothpaste to make brush time "fun time" again. GUM Crayola Squeeze-A-Color Toothpaste is the newest addtion to the GUM Crayola line from Sunstar Americas.

'Top-scanned' items during GMDC conference revealed

The Global Marketing Development Center's 2011 General Merchandise Marketing Conference featured more than 300 items in the Showcase Plus display earlier this month, GMDC said Wednesday.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Global Marketing Development Center's 2011 General Merchandise Marketing Conference featured more than 300 items in the Showcase Plus display earlier this month, GMDC said Wednesday.

The Showcase Plus allowed suppliers to present 4-ft. inline sections, as well as individual retail items, to the 165 wholesale/retail members who were in attendance.

The new products, available this August, include:

  • Glow Explosion sand art sculptures, for children ages 6 years and older, with a suggested retail price of $9.99;

  • Washable glow chalk, for children ages 6 years and older, with an SRP of $9.99;

  • Washable colored bubble launcher, for children ages 4 years and older, with an SRP of $14.99;
