DENVER — Atkins Nutritionals has launched a line of low-carbohydrate frozen meals that will be available nationwide starting in January 2013, the company said.

Atkins said Atkins Frozen Meals, which includes nine entrees, were developed with a focus on taste and ingredients such as vegetables, creams, sauces, and meats without any fillers or preservatives. Dishes include pot pies without the crust, turkey and green beans without stuffing, and egg scrambles without hash browns.

DENVER — A safety-net healthcare organization in Colorado got a donation of four new vaccine refrigerators at the end of a recent trade show there.

Summerville, S.C.-based American BioTech Supply announced the donation to Denver Health at the conclusion of the 2012 National Association of Chain Drug Stores' Pharmacy & Technology Conference, which took place in Denver from Aug. 26 to 28. Denver Health provides healthcare services to 25% of all Denver residents, or about 150,000 people, and the organization serves one-in-three children in the city.

Kirby Lester announced that its KL60 compact robotic dispenser would provide its KL60 compact robotic dispenser, which would be the exclusive pharmacy automation for Tri State Distribution's TriMaxx three-sided container, closer and label system. The companies announced the deal before the National Association of Chain Drug Stores' Pharmacy and Technology Conference in Denver, which ended Tuesday.
