Hard Candy, whose products are sold exclusively at Walmart, is launching in February its CC Crème. The multifunctional CC Crème will be available in four shades and priced at $8 each. Meanwhile, Procter & Gamble began shipping in December its new Olay Total Effect CC cream that promises to fight the seven signs of aging and covers skin imperfections.

Kefir is exceptionally creamy and rich in taste with flavors that mirror the customer favorites of its Greek-style yogurt.

MINNEAPOLIS — Yoplait is expanding its portfolio with a new on-the-go item.

The brand has introduced Yoplait Smoothies, which feature frozen fruit, fruit juice and real Yoplait Greek yogurt. The smoothies can be made by adding 3/4 cup of skim milk and blending. Each 4.5-oz. freezer package yields a single 12-oz. serving, Yoplait said.

LONDONDERRY, N.H. — Stonyfield has bolstered its line of organic Oikos frozen Greek yogurt.

Stonyfield said its lineup has expanded to include peach mango and superfruits flavors, which tout zero fat and 100 calories per serving The two flavors join a lineup that includes chocolate, vanilla, honey and blueberry. The frozen Greek yogurt is available at stores nationwide.

EVANSTON, Ill. — Tula Foods has introduced Better Whey of Life, a new line of Greek yogurt made with whey protein from grass-fed cows.

Better Whey of Life uses a unique process that retains the whey protein, enabling a distinct thick, smooth and silky yogurt with exceptional health benefits, Tula Foods said. The line currently contains six varieties, including blackberry pomegranate, strawberry goji berry, raspberry white grape, acai mixed berry, vanilla bean and plain.

Better Whey of Life carries a suggested retail price range of $1.39 to $1.69 per 6-oz. cup.

GLENVIEW, Ill. — Mead Johnson's infant formulas, including Enfamil Premium Newborn, are safe, according to results of testing by both the Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. These tests confirmed that the Mead Johnson products were safe, and no presence of the Cronobacter (Enterobacter sakazakii) bacteria was detected.

ALLEGAN, Mich. — Perrigo on Tuesday announced it received Food and Drug Administration clearance to market and distribute infant formula that contains 100% partially hydrolyzed whey protein. The store-brand Comfort Care infant formula is designed for babies with fussiness or gas and will be sold as a nutritionally comparable version of Gerber Good Start gentle infant formula at leading retailers in 2012.

Sales of the national brand are estimated to be $55 million for the latest 52-weeks, as measured by SymphonyIRI Group.

CAMP HILL, Pa. — Rite Aid is launching new flavors of its private-label Thrifty Ice Cream in California stores, the retail pharmacy chain said Wednesday.

The company said that its latest spreadable cheese touts a low glycemic index, 50% less fat and 30% less calories than regular spreadable cheese and is gluten-free.

Alouette's all-nautral light spinach and artichoke spreadable cheese retails for $5.49 and is available nationwide.
