Ulta will be featuring the Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X, the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light for acne and a line of topical skin care products on Ulta.com. The Tria Laser 4X and SmoothStart Calming Gel will launch in 25 Ulta doors in mid-April.

Lumene, a European skin care and cosmetics brand from Finland, has developed Complete Rewind, a new anti-aging skin care line that leverages anti-glycation technology. The line is especially geared toward women ages 50 years and older. The line hits retail in June/July.

Events will start Sunday and run for 13 days afterward, and will include blood-glucose testing, glucose-meter exchange and education, cholesterol testing, bone-density screenings, blood-pressure testing and others. In addition, there will be free "mini makeover" demonstrations and hair styling tips by Conair and product samplings ranging from cosmetics to supplements.

LONDON — A ban on importing and selling animal-tested cosmetics products and ingredients will enter into force in March. The ban affects all cosmetics, including toiletries and beauty products.

"I believe that the ban should enter into force in March 2013 as Parliament and Council already have decided. I therefore am not planning to propose a postponement or derogation to the ban," Commissioner Tonio Borg wrote in a recent letter to animal testing campaigners.
