COLD SPRING HARBOR, N.Y. — Cirrus Healthcare Products on Thursday announced that the company will be launching its latest licensed version of EarPlanes for Kids in conjunction with the new Disney "Planes" movie releasing on Aug. 9.  

EarPlanes, which comes in two sizes fitting either a child or an adult, are designed to be worn for air travel to reduce and prevent uncomfortable ear pressure during flight — including the clogging, popping, pain or even the temporary hearing loss that can result.

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. — Public relations and digital marketing firm Robin Leedy and Associates has added three new clients, the firm said Tuesday.

RL&A said the clients were Matrixx Initiatives, which makes the Zicam family of pre-cold and nasal congestion products; Crosscare, which makes Colief Infant Drops for colic related to transient lactase deficiency; and Cirrus Healthcare Products, which makes EarPlanes air-pressure ear plugs, as well as AquaEars for children. The firm specializes in OTC, health and beauty aids and consumer lifestyle brands marketed to women.

COLD SPRING HARBOR, N.Y. — Cirrus Healthcare Products will celebrate two decades of company success in 2013 with the launch of a new line of AquaEars, the company announced Wednesday. The soft silicone AquaEars ear plugs will now be available in a variety of licensed characters, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Disney and Hello Kitty.

Sales of ear care products were up 3% to $47.2 million across food, drug and mass (excluding Walmart) for the 52 weeks ended April 15, according to 
SymphonyIRI Group data.


The ultra soft earplugs employ the same technology as the antimicrobial earplug BioEars — soft silicone earplugs that use ACTIValoe.

COLD SPRING HARBOR, N.Y. — Cirrus Healthcare on Wednesday launched a SpongeBob SquarePants-licensed line of earplugs designed to protect children when swimming, showering and studying, and during loud events.

The SpongeBob SquarePants ultra soft earplugs employs the same technology as BioEars, a soft silicone earplug that uses ActivAloe, a patented aloe vera application.

The SpongeBob SquarePants ultra soft earplugs will be merchandised in pairs of three in a waterproof carry case.
