In partnership with the American Red Cross, beginning Nov. 6, the P&G Mobile Relief Center will be stationed in Union Beach, N.J., to provide showers, personal care kits, household products — including Bounty, Charmin, Tide and Dawn — and baby products, including Pampers diapers and wipes, to victims of Hurricane Sandy, Procter & Gamble announced Monday.

Procter & Gamble's Charmin brand broke the Guinness World Record for the world's largest toilet roll.

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble's Charmin brand broke the Guinness World Record for the world's largest toilet roll.

Charmin said on Friday, which marks National Toilet Paper Day, that the roll measures more than 8 ft. high and a diameter for more than 9 ft. wide and is made entirely of Charmin toilet tissue. The roll was created at P&G's Paper Products company, located outside of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and transported to P&G's headquarters in Cincinnati for the unveiling.

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble's Charmin Sensitive was voted the best new bathroom tissue of 2011 in a study conducted by BrandSpark International and published in the Better Homes and Gardens magazine's third annual Best New Products Awards issue.

The third annual Best New Products Awards are part of the magazine's June issue. Charmin Sensitive will be featured among the 42 winning consumer products in the categories of health and beauty, food and household care.

Procter & Gamble announced the grand opening of its new plant in Box Elder, Utah, marking the first plant the company has built in four decades.

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble announced the grand opening of its new plant in Box Elder, Utah, marking the first plant the company has built in four decades.

P&G said the plant, which also features an on-site distribution center, will handle the company's family care business of brands, which includes the Bounty, Charmin and Puffs brands. The Box Elder plant has more than 600,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, plus 400,000 sq. ft. for its on-site distribution center, which opened last spring to ship a number of P&G products.

NEW YORK In response to a national survey, which found that many women often are disappointed with their purchase of household products and desire more product innovation, Procter & Gamble has developed the multipronged “Have You Tried This Yet?” campaign as a way to highlight the manufacturer’s newer, more unique products. As part of the campaign, P&G opened to the public on Oct. 22 an interactive pop-up store in New York to drive awareness and product trials.

Procter & Gamble is offering Target shoppers an opportunity to save the lives of children...

CINCINNATI Procter & Gamble is offering Target shoppers an opportunity to save the lives of children with cancer in a new support partnership.

From Sept. 19 to Sept. 25, Target guests can support the efforts of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by purchasing such P&G brands as Tide, Charmin, Bounty and Pampers at Target stores nationwide. For every purchase of participating brands during the week-long program, 5% of the purchase price will be donated to St. Jude, with a total donation of up to $700,000.
