CCA Industries, a manufacturer of health and beauty aids, announced on Monday the sudden death of president and CEO Dunnan D. Edell.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — CCA Industries, a manufacturer of health and beauty aids, announced on Monday the sudden death of president and CEO Dunnan D. Edell.

The board of directors has asked David Edell, the former CEO and founder of the company, who retired at the end of 2011, to accept the position of CEO at this time.

The board approved a dividend of 7 cents per share for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2012, payable to all shareholders of record as of Nov. 6, 2012, and to be paid on Dec. 6, 2012.

CCA Industries, which manufactures and markets health and beauty aids, has announced that its board of directors has approved a dividend of 7 cents per share for the second quarter of fiscal 2012.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — CCA Industries, which manufactures and markets health and beauty aids, has announced that its board of directors has approved a dividend of 7 cents per share for the second quarter of fiscal 2012, payable to all shareholders of record as of June 8, and to be paid on July 9.

This will be the company's 32nd consecutive dividend.

CCA Industries narrows Q4 loss

Health and beauty aid company CCA Industries announced on Wednesday that it narrowed its fourth-quarter loss and saw a boost in revenues as it celebrated the launch during the quarter of its new Nutra Nail Gel Perfect UV Free gel nail color brand.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Health and beauty aid company CCA Industries announced on Wednesday that it narrowed its fourth-quarter loss and saw a boost in revenues as it celebrated the launch during the quarter of its new Nutra Nail Gel Perfect UV Free gel nail color brand.

Revenues for the quarter ended Nov. 30 totaled $11.8 million, compared with $10.2 million in the year-ago period. Net loss during the quarter was $3,433, compared with a loss of $697,500 for the fourth quarter 2010.

The merger, subject to the approval of PBL’s shareholders and other closing conditions, is expected to close in December. PBL’s senior management team is expected to remain with L’Oréal USA.

Beauty company CCA Industries has appointed Michael Piff as EVP sales.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Beauty company CCA Industries has appointed Michael Piff as EVP sales.

Piff joins CCA with extensive industry experience at such companies as DowBrands, Minnetonka Brands and Cosrich/Health Science Labs, and will be based at company headquarters in East Rutherford.

“I look forward to working with Michael as we build CCA’s business and enhance our relationships with the retail trade,” CCA president and CEO Dunnan Edell said.
