TORONTO — In an effort to develop a multidimensional customer segmentation, Supervalu has signed on to use a LoyaltyOne's customer-centric analytics solution, LoyaltyOne announced.

LoyaltyOne said its Precima customer segmentation software will use customer data to help Supervalu better understand its customers and classify them in a way that translates into actionable insights. These insights can drive improvements with a goal of being more responsive to customer needs.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A Kerr Drug subsidiary has integrated its specialty pharmacy and long-term care data into BioMed Intelligence's data warehouse solution, BMI said.

The moves streamlines Kerr Health's information into a single platform for data analytics across multiple locations and lines of business.

INDIANAPOLIS — Marsh Supermarkets has created a new executive position that will focus on merchandising support, including pricing, space management, corporate brands and business intelligence.

The retailer said that retail veteran David Siegel will be Marsh's SVP merchandising and marketing strategic initiatives.

Siegel joins the company from Schenectady, N.Y.-based Price Chopper.

Marsh operates 72 Marsh Supermarkets, 3 O'Malia's Food Markets and 22 MainStreet Market stores in Indiana and Ohio.
