Hygenic/Performance Health, maker of Perform Pain Reliever, on Tuesday announced that the company had increased in-store activity with an Instant Redeemable Coupon program in support of Pink-Link Breast Cancer Support Network, an online support resource for women affected by breast cancer.

AKRON, Ohio — Hygenic/Performance Health, maker of Perform Pain Reliever, on Tuesday announced that the company had increased in-store activity with an Instant Redeemable Coupon program in support of Pink-Link Breast Cancer Support Network, an online support resource for women affected by breast cancer. For each coupon redeemed, Hygenic/Performance Health donated a portion to Pink-Link. 

The program ran during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and concluded with a total donation of more than $18,000 to Pink-Link.

Kroger on Tuesday announced it has committed $3 million in donations for local breast cancer initiatives across the country to support National Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.

CINCINNATI — Kroger on Tuesday announced it has committed $3 million in donations for local breast cancer initiatives across the country to support National Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. 

This will be the seventh year since Kroger began the Giving Hope a Hand initiative. By the end of 2013, Kroger will have donated more than $24 million to support breast cancer research, education and services since 2006, the grocer reported.

MINNEAPOLIS — Yoplait has kicked off its annual Save Lids to Save Lives breast cancer awareness campaign.

The yogurt brand said that as part of its campaign, the company once again has tapped actress and breast cancer survivor Adamari Lopez to join Yoplait's Save Lids to Save Lives Tour. The tour is making its way across the United States, stopping in U.S. cities with large Hispanic populations. The tour kicked off Sept. 6 in Miami and ends Oct. 26 in Houston. She will also visit New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Phoenix, Yoplait said.
