 NEW YORK — Nipro Diagnostics' TRUEresult Blood Glucose Meter for the second consecutive year received a “recommended“ rating from Consumer Reports as part of the publication's review of blood glucose meters in its October issue. 

The TRUEresult meter received an “excellent” rating for accuracy and “very good“ for repeatability and convenience. Additionally, the TRUE2go meter rated “very good” for accuracy and repeatability, and “good” for convenience.

Currently 45% of community pharmacies deliver diabetes supplies to assisted living facilities, according to the National Community 
Pharmacists Association.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — An online data sharing platform announced it will debut a daily blood-glucose monitoring feature for its more than 2,000 diabetes patients.

PatientsLikeMe said patients will be able to report daily glucose levels, as well as continue sharing and learning from HbA1C scores, treatments and dosages, in addition to symptoms and severity.

The feature will be launched in early December, PatientsLikeMe said.
