Wellco Brands launches pain relief cream for under the nose of cold, allergy sufferers

Wellco Brands on Thursday launched Healerz for Noses, a pain relief cream to soothe the skin under the nose that becomes irritated during cold and allergy season.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Wellco Brands on Thursday launched Healerz for Noses, a pain relief cream to soothe the skin under the nose that becomes irritated during cold and allergy season.  

Healerz is formulated with lidocaine for pain relief, benzalkonium chloride antiseptic to help guard against infection and aloe for its soothing properties.  

Each package contains six single-use packets.

FDA acts to prevent contamination problems with Triad antiseptic products

U.S. marshals have seized more than $6 million in products distributed by Triad Group at the company’s facility in Hartland, Wis., the Food and Drug Administration reported Wednesday.

SILVER SPRING, Md. — U.S. marshals have seized more than $6 million in products distributed by Triad Group at the company’s facility in Hartland, Wis., the Food and Drug Administration reported Wednesday.

“We took this action to stop Triad from continuing to distribute products [that] may pose a risk to public health,” stated Dara Corrigan, FDA associate commissioner for regulatory affairs.
