Bazooka Candy Brands, a division of the Topps Co., announced the expansion of the Major League Baseball branded Ring Pops to new teams this March.

NEW YORK — Bazooka Candy Brands, a division of the Topps Co., announced the expansion of the Major League Baseball branded Ring Pops to new teams this March. The candies will be expanding to additional teams, including the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds and the Boston Red Sox.

The branded Ring Pop candies are packaged in wrappers featuring each team's logos, with flavors corresponding to the team colors, the company said.

DETROIT — Avanti is gearing up for spring 2013 by boosting its portfolio to include a variety of new greeting cards.

New to the Avanti portfolio are Valentine's Day cards enhanced with glitter and foil; Easter cards that showcase bright colors and characters; Mother's Day cards that are humorous and traditional; Father's Day cards that evoke a "saltier" style of humor; and graduation cards for grades kindergarten and older. Avanti also is launching new seasonal StandOuts cards and Avanti-branded cards that have been added to the company's A*Press collection.

CARLSBAD, Calif. — Upper Deck will unveil its latest innovation this spring.

New Evolution video trading cards will make their appearance in the 2011 Upper Deck football collection, which will be released April 12.

Four standout gridiron stars comprise the initial unveiling of the Evolution inserts: running back Adrian Peterson, quarterback Tony Romo, wide receiver DeSean Jackson and hard-hitting linebacker Patrick Willis. Each of the booklet-type cards measure in at the same height (3.5 in.) and width (2.5 in.) as a regular trading card, Upper Deck said.

Bazooka, which is part of The Topps Co., has strengthened its portfolio with the acquisition of Sharkies organic fruit chews, according to published reports.

NEW YORK — Bazooka, which is part of The Topps Co., has strengthened its portfolio with the acquisition of Sharkies organic fruit chews, according to published reports.

Sharkies organic fruit chews, which currently have retail distribution in such chains as H-E-B, Safeway and Target, among others, will boost The Topps Co.'s snacks business.

The Topps Co.'s current candy lineup includes Bazooka chewing gum, Baby Bottle Pop, Push Pop and Ring Pop.

ARLINGTON, Texas Panini America is launching its first officially licensed NFL sticker album and sticker collection.

Following the launch of its 2010 FIFA World Cup sticker collection, the company said its new football collection features NFL superstars and rookies from all 32 NFL teams, including Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Adrian Peterson, Brett Favre and Tim Tebow.
