LOS ANGELES — Allegro, a division of Conair, has unveiled the new Modella 2011 fall/winter collection, which combines fashion and function with a variety of cosmetic and travel accessories in trendy colors and designs, ranging from pink florals and vibrant plaid to wild cheetah prints.

The 2011 fall/winter collection, which retails for between $1.97 and $19.99, features 11 new lines of cosmetic and travel accessories for both girls and guys. The collection includes the following lines and styles:

NEW YORK — A new line of biodegradable trash bags are looking to "dress the mess."

DesignerLiners, unlike typical waste liners, feature 1-of-10 unique designs that are displayed on the inside of a bag so consumers can "dress the mess," the company said. The bags are available in a 12-pack or a bulk package of 100 bags, and each bag touts a 5-gal. to 6-gal. size.

TAMPA — Not Your Mother's hair care line launched in 2010 in a few hundred Walmart stores as a test. Now, the brand is celebrating a successful first year with broadened distribution at retail.

Following its test run at Walmart, the brand now is available in 1,500 Walmart locations. In March 2011, Ulta brought in the line to all of its nearly 400 locations. Also carrying the collection are several regional retailers, such as Lowes Foods, Schnucks, King Kullen, Hi-School Pharmacy, Navarro Discount Pharmacy, Dierbergs, Acme Fresh Markets and Bag n Save.

Fresh & Easy debuted the winning design from its first-ever Design-A-Bag contest in its stores this week.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Fresh & Easy debuted the winning design from its first-ever Design-A-Bag contest in its stores this week.

The new reusable bag retails for only 79 cents and already is a big hit with customers, with thousands already sold. The bag's creative design was hand-drawn by Los Angeles resident Josephine Close, who received a year's worth of free groceries for winning the contest.
